A group of elementary school students in Texas, USA has achieved a Guinness World Record for the world’s longest friendship bracelet! The students at Valley Creek Elementary School spent four months working on the woven ribbon bracelet, which measured a whopping 851m long.
The colors chosen for the ribbons reflected the school colors for Faubion Middle School and McKinney High School, where most Valley Creek students will likely attend. The bracelet was laid out on the school district’s football field and measured by a crew from Underwood Drafting and Surveying. It was found to have officially broken the Guinness World Record of 644m.
The students were overjoyed to achieve the record-breaking feat, and it was a great opportunity for them to learn about teamwork and collaboration. The project brought together students from different grades and backgrounds, all working towards a common goal.
Breaking a Guinness World Record is no small feat, and it’s a huge accomplishment for these hardworking students. We can’t wait to see what other amazing things they’ll achieve in the future!
very interesting
I loved reading it because, I never knew that maybe chocolate might be gone in the future!
save the chocolate…
I enjoyed this reading because
it show what climate changes does!!
they might have to move most chocolate into a colder place, since the climate clock is getting low
so temperature might get higher.
i love chocolate
I’m allergic to dairy, but this makes me sad for my best friends all around NZ (don’t think it’s weird because I actually do). And my chocolate loving cousin, her name is Dana (I’m from South Korea and she told me how to spell her name in Korean but its not pronounced like Dana).
I know that there are chocolate lovers around the world so, poor them or if you like chocolate poor you (even though I’m allergic to dairy, or to make it easy dairy products: cheese, milk, butter etc).
