World’s fastest wheel barrow

A British mechanic named Dylan Phillips broke a Guinness World Record by speeding up his motorized wheelbarrow to 83kmph. Phillips, who initially built the wheelbarrow for fun, discovered there was a world record for wheelbarrow speed and decided to pursue it.

Phillips made his record-breaking run during Straightliners Speed Week 2024 at Elvington Airfield in Yorkshire. He explained that while taking the wheelbarrow to such high speeds is thrilling, it’s also quite uncomfortable and scary.

The wheelbarrow only has brakes at the front, making it difficult to slow down. Phillips mentioned that it doesn’t have any suspension, so the rides leave him feeling achy due to the intense rattling.

Despite the challenges, Phillips expressed joy at achieving the record, describing it as “absolute nonsense” but still a nice feeling. His unique and speedy garden tool has earned him a spot in the Guinness World Records, highlighting an unusual yet impressive accomplishment.
