Kiwi basketballer Steven Adams is out of the NBA for a month because of an injury.

The Memphis Grizzlies have confirmed that Adams will miss three to five weeks due to a sprained right knee.

Adams sprained the posterior cruciate ligament in the Grizzlies’ 112-10 loss in Phoenix last week.

The Grizzlies are currently sitting in second place in the Western Conference with a 31-16 record.

Adams is currently having one of his best seasons in the NBA. He is currently leading the rankings in offensive rebounds and is one of the key reasons why the Grizzlies are playing so well.

Adams is averaging 8.6 points and 11.5 rebounds per game, and he has started all 42 games he has played this season for Memphis.
