School sign spelt wrong

In Holden, Massachusetts, officials recently painted the word “SCHOOL” on the road outside Mountview Middle School as a warning for drivers to reduce their speed in the school zone. However, the word was accidentally misspelled as “SHCOOL.”

The town acknowledged the mistake in a Facebook post, stating that the error occurred about two weeks ago. Unfortunately, due to recent weather conditions, contractors were unable to correct the typo immediately. They assured residents that the mistake would be fixed shortly.

In a humorous follow-up post, the town shared a “temporary solution” to the misspelling. They included a photo of Mountview Middle School’s sign altered to bear the same “Shcool” misspelling, adding some lightheartedness to the situation.
