Police Dog tracks down steak stealer

January 15, 2018

A man who stole more than 3kg of eye-fillet steak has been tracked down by a steak-loving police dog.

A hungry Canadian man in his 20s stole three large party packs of meat from a butcher and made a run for it on Tuesday.

Police were alerted by the shop owner, and then deployed service dog Diesel to track him down.

The thief and the meat were soon returned, with one steak kept aside for the dog to eat as a reward.

“Probably not the best thing to be carrying when a determined police service dog is tracking you down,” St John police said.

Wow that’s fantastic

Thief likes meat. Dog likes steak. Put two and two together and the dog wil eventually always win/catch the thief.
But good dog.
