This term we are looking at SPACE. Over the next 10 weeks, you are going to complete activities to help you learn more about our amazing universe.

Over the next two weeks you have a creative task to complete. 

You have been selected by NASA to design a new space craft. Your spacecraft must have the power to get two humans to Mars and once they land move around. NASA believe the mmission will take 6 months so you must make it comfortable enough for your two astronauts.

Using the two pages in your homework booklet complete the following tasks:
Page 1 – plan all the things you may need on your space craft.
Create a simple design

Page 2 – complete your design colour and information explain each part of your space craft.

Below is an example of how NASA design their spacecraft.

Each week you have to find one word from a Kiwi Kids News articles.
It should be a word that you are not familiar with. Write the word in the box
Find and write down the dictionary definition of your word and then use it in a sentence
