Football player Chris Wood is sad to miss the rest of the Premier League season with Nottingham Forest due to an injury. Chris, who is part of the All Whites, hurt his thigh during a game against Tottenham Hotspur on March 11th.

Although he went to Auckland for New Zealand’s matches against China, he couldn’t play in either game because of his injury. Chris had to leave the squad early to go back to his club for more treatment.

Forest boss Steve Cooper confirmed that Chris wouldn’t be playing for the rest of the season because of his injury. The team is currently 16th in the Premier League with 26 points from 27 games.

But that’s not all – Forest also has concerns about some other players like Brennan Johnson, Andre Ayew, Serge Aurier, and Gustavo Scarpa. Johnson has a problem with his groin and isn’t fully fit yet. Andre, Serge, and Gustavo also have injuries.

Even though it’s not great news, Cooper said that the team will focus on the players who are available and ready to play in the next game. Taiwo Awoniyi and Cheikhou Kouyate have both returned to full training after being out for a while with injuries.
