Kaylee Bell Wins at Country Music Awards

Kaylee Bell, a musician from Waimate, New Zealand, has won the Jeff Walker Global Country Artist award at the prestigious Country Music Awards (CMA) in the United States.

Bell, whose song “Keith” is a tribute to New Zealand-born Keith Urban, has become the first Kiwi to win at the CMA since Keith Urban.

The Jeff Walker Global Country Artist award recognizes outstanding achievements by a musician signed outside the United States.

Bell, now based in Nashville, is the most streamed country artist in Australasia and expressed her gratitude for the recognition.
