Hold on to your hats, kids, because the star-studded lineup for King Charles’ Coronation concert has just been announced!
Katy Perry, who sang “Firework” and “Roar,” will be singing her heart out in front of 20,000 people at Windsor Castle the day after King Charles’ Coronation ceremony. The concert is going to be all about love, respect, and positivity, and Katy Perry says she’s excited to be performing and hopes to draw attention to issues that affect children around the world.
But that’s not all! Take That, a super famous British band from the 90s and 2000s, will be taking the stage together for the first time in four years. They promise that their performance will include some super cool military drummers.
And if that wasn’t enough, American singer Lionel Ritchie will be there too! He had some massive hits in the 80s, including “Dancing on the Ceiling,” and has said that performing at King Charles’ Coronation is a huge honor.
But wait, there’s more! Italian opera legend Andrea Bocelli and Welsh star Sir Bryn Terfel will also be performing, and there will be a special Coronation Choir made up of singing groups from all around the UK.
And if all that singing and dancing wasn’t enough to make your jaw drop, there will be an incredible light show with drones, lasers, and illuminations.
