Cat breaks Record with Long Tail

A cat from Minnesota has earned a Guinness World Records title for having the longest tail on a living domestic cat.

Mr. Pugsley Addams, a silver Maine coon, has a tail that measures 47 centimetres long. He lives with the Cameron family and is just two years old.

The idea to check if Pugsley had a record-breaking tail came after the family’s vet mentioned its length more than once. Curious, the Cameron children looked up the current record—and were surprised to find that their pet had beaten it!

Amanda Cameron, Pugsley’s owner, says he’s not just famous for his tail. He’s also known for being calm, friendly, and always purring. People who meet him often call him a “local celebrity.”

Pugsley’s soft fur and gentle personality make him a favourite everywhere he goes.
