Black Caps claim series against Pakistan

The Black Caps have won the test series against Pakistan 2-1.

New Zealand dismissed the hosts for 156 on day five of the third and final test in Abu Dhabi and with it they claimed a 123 run victory.

It is the first away win for the Black Caps over Pakistan in 49 years.

Debutante spinner Will Somerville took three scalps for the Black Caps to end up with a match haul of seven wickets.

Earlier on the final day Henry Nicholls scored his third test century, finishing with an unbeaten 126.

New Zealand won the opening Test in Abu Dhabi by four runs before Pakistan squared the three-match series with victory in the second Test in Dubai by an innings and 16 runs.
