Australia’s Travis Head made a remarkable start to the game, scoring an explosive 109 off just 67 balls. Along with David Warner, they formed an aggressive opening partnership, amassing an impressive 175 runs off 117 balls.

In response to Australia’s challenging total of 360-6 in 47 overs, New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra scored his second World Cup century. He scored 116 off 89 balls and nearly led his team to victory in a gripping contest.

The match came down to a nail-biting finish. New Zealand needed 19 runs off the last over. Australia’s Mitchell Starc held his nerve and defended the target, securing the win for his team.
