MEET THE TEAM

Kiwi Kids News is powered by a small team of passionate people who care about creating engaging, informative and child-friendly content for young readers across New Zealand.

Shem Banbury
Shem is the founder and CEO of Kiwi Kids News. He oversees the website and helps make sure everything is running smoothly. Shem is passionate about education and loves triathlon, running, golf and tramping.

Rachel Banbury
Rachel is an important part of the Kiwi Kids News team and looks after our weekly quiz. She is a pharmacist by day and enjoys going to the gym, spending time with family and tramping.

Milli
Milli is our resident writer. She brings energy and creativity to Kiwi Kids News and loves sharing stories for young audiences. Milli enjoys cycling, running and netball, runs the Sunny Side Up Children’s Film Festival, and is a Year 11 student at Aquinas College.
