Polish man dresses as mannequin to shoplift

In Poland, a man was apprehended on charges of attempting to steal jewelry by pretending to be a mannequin in a shop window after the store had closed for the day.

A photo captured inside the shopping mall where the alleged incident occurred depicted the man standing motionless among the store’s window display, holding a bag.

Reportedly, he maintained this pose until he believed it was safe, at which point he strolled through various store departments and helped himself to jewelry, as reported by the BBC.

His deceptive act was foiled when he was noticed by the mall’s security personnel.

Additionally, he is accused of pilfering items from another shopping mall. In this instance, he dined late at a restaurant and waited for it to close, after which he changed his attire by swapping it for new clothes from a store.
