Zeus, the world’s tallest living dog according to the Guinness World Records, is facing a tough battle against bone cancer. The towering Great Dane, measuring an astonishing 1.046 meters in height, captured the title in March 2022.
However, Zeus, who resides in Texas with owner Brittany Davis, now needs to undergo significant medical treatment, including the amputation of his right front leg.
Brittany Davis has started a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe to support Zeus’s medical expenses. She expressed her family’s deep sadness about the diagnosis, emphasizing the emotional and financial challenges they are now facing in providing the best care for their beloved canine companion.
While the specific type of cancer Zeus has has not been disclosed, bone cancer in dogs is relatively common, with approximately 10,000 new cases diagnosed each year, according to the Animal Surgical Centre of Michigan. Fortunately, many dogs can lead active lives even after amputation.
Zeus, known for turning heads during his walks and often mistaken for a horse by children, remains in good spirits. He will soon undergo an amputation procedure, and his treatment plan may also include radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
very interesting
I loved reading it because, I never knew that maybe chocolate might be gone in the future!
save the chocolate…
I enjoyed this reading because
it show what climate changes does!!
they might have to move most chocolate into a colder place, since the climate clock is getting low
so temperature might get higher.
i love chocolate
I’m allergic to dairy, but this makes me sad for my best friends all around NZ (don’t think it’s weird because I actually do). And my chocolate loving cousin, her name is Dana (I’m from South Korea and she told me how to spell her name in Korean but its not pronounced like Dana).
I know that there are chocolate lovers around the world so, poor them or if you like chocolate poor you (even though I’m allergic to dairy, or to make it easy dairy products: cheese, milk, butter etc).
