In a gripping and emotionally charged final World Cup game, New Zealand’s Football Ferns drew 0-0 with Switzerland.
The game, played in front of a roaring crowd of 26,000 passionate fans at the Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin, meant that New Zealand’s dreams of advancing to the final 16 were dashed, as they finished the pool stage on 4 points.

I got so sad when New Zealand lost because that meant that New Zealand was out of the womens world cup and I got so sad that I almost cried when I said the news to my big brother and he was in his room.
