Chiefs win Brisbane 10’s

February 13, 2017

The Chiefs have beaten the Crusaders in the final of the Brisbane 10’s.

The Chiefs were too strong across the park for the Crusaders and won 12-5.

The result was a fitting end as the Chiefs had played the tournament in the memory of Sione Lauaki, the former Chiefs and All Blacks player, who passed away in the weekend.

They ran in two tries, including a brilliant individual effort from Shaun Stevenson.

The teams will now prepare for the opening round of the Super Rugby Competition which start son the 23rd February.
